FARM KING OFFSET DISCS ARE AVAILABLE IN FOUR WEIGHT CLASSES RANGING FROM 550 LB/FT TO 1050 LB/FT (818 TO 1563 KG/M).

They weigh in the 650 lbs/ ft (320 lbs/ blade) weight class. Designed for heavy primary tillage work such as breaking up grass/pasture or working in heavy crop residue or doing light-duty industrial work. The 1275 is available in working widths from 10' to 20' (3.0 - 6.1 m) in 10.5" or 12" (267, 305 mm) blade spacing.

The 8550 features a floating hitch to ensure a smooth level finish on all jobs. Available in 9-1/2 to 15-1/2' widths the 8550 comes with a standard 14" (356 mm) blade spacing. The all-welded frame is constructed of 10" x 4" x 1/2" (254 x 102 x 13 mm) steel tubing.

STONE-FLEX/RIGID HANGERS
Stone-flex hangers are standard equipment on Models 1225/ 1275. They allow gangs to flex slightly side-to-side and up/ down to provide protection to the gang assemblies when impact is encountered while at the same time maintaining working depth. Heavy Duty rigid hangers are standard equipment on Models 1375/ 8550 where larger sized 30" and 32" blades are standard. Rigid hangers are fabricated from rectangular steel tubing and have a slim line contour design that provides maximum strength combined with excellent residue/ material flow.

BLADE SCRAPERS
Farm King Models 1225/1275/1375 offset discs feature wide-pan style blade scrapers. These scrapers contact lower down on the disc blades and scrape more surface area of the blade to provide more effective cleaning and prevent sticky material from building up on the blades. Scraper blades (tips) are laser cut from wear-resistant boron alloy steel and are replaceable. Model 8550 scrapers are fabricated from a single piece of heavy-duty 4"x3/4" steel and are double U-bolt mounted to the scraper bar for maximum strength and performance.

REMOVABLE SPINDLE AXLES
Farm King offset discs are built with maintenance concerns in mind. All spindle axles are designed for easy removal and maximum strength. Each spindle is bolted into a sleeve and can be removed by simply removing the bolt and pulling out the axle. This will save valuable time if repairs to a tire are needed.

ADJUSTABLE GANG ANGLE
The cut angle on Farm King Offset Discs can be adjusted to one of three settings (two on the 8550) depending on the aggression required. Moisture, soil conditions and crop residue levels change from season to season and only a disc with an adjustable gang angle will perform will in these varying conditions.

POSITIVE DEPTH CONTROL
A heavy-duty rockshaft, in greaseable bearings, is the foundation of the single offset disc‘s depth control system. A single cylinder with positive depth control segments provides consistent and repeatable working depth. An adjustable crank allows the operator to regulate the balance of pressure on both front and rear gangs.

Farm King discs feature fabricated steel half and full spools. Unlike cast iron spools, steel spools can withstand far greater “shock loads” from rocks or stumps thereby eliminating spool breakage. Compressed to maximum density prior to assembly, Farm King's fabricated spools allow gang assemblies to be factory torqued to 3,200 ft-lbs (3,800 ft-lbs for model 8550) to ensure the gang components will not shift and become loose.

In order to get the most uniform and consistent field finish, Farm King offset discs have furrow filler blades as standard equipment. Furrow filler blades along with full sized blades on the gang assemblies create a uniform, well worked field or job-site.

INTERLOCKING HALF SPOOLS
Optional with 26" blades and standard equipment with 28" and larger sized blades, interlocking half spools are exclusive to Farm King. Each heavy-duty steel bearing sleeve is extended past the bearing housing and has drive lugs on each end that press and lock into the adjoining half spools so that the bearing sleeve and half spools form a single integrated unit. This provides 527% more contact area between the half spools and the blades to prevent blades from slipping and gang assemblies becoming loose in demanding tillage applications.

GANG BEARINGS
410 WSS Series (standard on Model 1225) are a great choice for owners looking for a medium to heavy-duty bearing. Rated at 14,100 lbs. radial load, each bearing has 7 - 15/16" steel ball bearings that are held within a greaseable housing. The 410 WSS bearing features triple lip seals that do an excellent job of keeping dust, grit and contamination out of the bearing. The bearings are fastened to a bolt-on cast housing that allows the bearings to self-align which minimizes wear between the bearing, housing and gang shaft. This bearing is 190% heavier than the bearings commonly used by other Disc manufacturers.

Bearing wear plates are optional for rocky conditions or abrasive soil types.
